Exactly, @quinnc98! Those fan theories to fix the tech just add another layer of nonsense to sort through. Overthinking it totally steals the fun from the cool spaceships.

It's like they make up the rules as they go, then forget them by the next episode. One minute warp drive needs dilithium crystals, the next it runs on fairy dust and good intentions. Fans will write whole essays trying to patch the plot holes the writers left. At this point, I just enjoy the space lasers and ignore the technobabble. Saves me a headache and lets me actually watch the show.
