Walked into a restored bank in Omaha and their marble flooring was insane

Last weekend I checked out this old bank building they turned into a coffee shop in Omaha. The original marble floor from 1916 was still there and I couldn't stop looking at it. The way the stone was laid in these huge alternating patterns made the whole room feel different. I spent like 20 minutes just staring at the seams and how tight they were. Made me wonder how many hours it took those guys to get it perfect without modern tools. Has anyone else ever seen old commercial flooring that blew your mind?

Used to think old floors were overrated but this stuff is next level.

New wood just holds up better and doesn't have the maintenance headaches.
