The way we used to cut tile by eye beats laser guides any day.

I've been installing floors for 20 years, and I miss when skill meant something. We used to measure and cut tile with just a pencil and a wet saw, no fancy tools. If a wall wasn't straight, you had to eye-ball the cut and make it fit perfect. Now guys rely on laser levels and pre-cut templates. It takes the craft out of it. Jobs get done faster, but they don't have the same pride in the work. Give me the old ways any day. Real installers know the difference.

Nothing beats the feel of a perfect hand-cut tile fit.

That feeling when two pieces come together just right is hard to top. Johnson.parker gets it, it's like when a trimmed edge meets a corner with no gap. The time it takes is always worth it for that clean finish.
