Check the warranty before you panic. A lot of pro tools have decent coverage for stuff like this. Might just be a bad part they'll replace.

Ugh, warranty is the first thing everyone jumps to. That's a huge hassle, waiting on hold and filling out forms. Plus, half the time they say it's "user error" or normal wear and tear, so they won't cover it. You could be stuck without your tool for weeks over a simple fix a local shop could do in a day. Sometimes it's just faster and less headache to pay out of pocket and move on.

Warranty runarounds feel like a symptom of our whole service culture now. Companies build systems to wear you down so you just give up and pay. It's exhausting how often the easy path is just accepting a worse deal.
