Been using my knee kicker backwards for like a year
A guy I was helping on a job in Fresno just stared at me and said, 'You know you're supposed to push it away from you, right?' I felt my whole face get red. Anyone else have a basic tool they were using wrong forever?

Man, that's rough. I used a flat bar as a pry bar for way too long before someone pointed out the notches are for pulling nails.

Yeah, and it gets worse when you realize the flat bar's curve is actually for rolling against a surface for more force. @daniel_lane30, I was just jamming it straight in for years. The right tool makes the job so much easier and you don't wreck the wood or the tool itself. It's one of those things you don't know until someone shows you.

Totally feel that, my old boss saw me doing the same thing. The power head should face away from you so the teeth grab the carpet when you strike it. Makes stretching way easier and saves your knee a ton of grief lol.
