TIL my custom brush's pressure curve was the reason my line art looked shaky for a month

I spent over 30 hours redoing sketches before I finally checked the tablet driver settings and found the curve was set way too sensitive, which is a huge relief but also kind of annoying.

I once spent a whole weekend trying to fix wobbly lines by buying a new tablet pen. The problem was my hand shaking from too much coffee. What's the weirdest fix you've found for an art problem?

Honestly @charles_kelly43 that coffee story is too real. I read about an artist who kept getting weird smudges on their paper and bought all these fancy fixatives. Turns out they just needed to wash their hands more because their lotion was causing it. Tbh sometimes the fix is the simplest, dumbest thing right in front of you. Like using a hair dryer to quickly dry a layer of paint because you got impatient.
