Spent $80 on a brush pack that just made my lines look worse

I bought a fancy set of 'pro' digital brushes for Procreate, thinking they'd up my game. They actually made my linework look messy and inconsistent compared to the basic ones. Anyone know a good, simple brush set for clean inking?
