Pro tip: Stop slapping watermarks across the middle of your art
I was scrolling through the showcase feed last night and saw 3 pieces in a row with huge watermarks right through the character's face. Why would you ruin your own work like that? If someone wants to steal your art, they'll crop or clone stamp it out anyway. Put your signature in a corner or on a border where it doesn't distract. Has anyone else noticed this making otherwise great pieces look amateur?

Huh, I dunno, is it really that big of a deal? @wilson.kelly yeah, I saw one where the watermark was dead center on a character's face and it was annoying, but I feel like this whole "art theft" panic gets blown way out of proportion. Most people scrolling aren't gonna steal your work, they're just looking at it. If you wanna put a big stamp on it to feel safe, that's your choice. Personally, I focus more on the art itself than a little text overlay. Watermarks don't make or break a piece for me.
