My first digital piece was a pixelated mess I made in Microsoft Paint back in 2005.
I spent hours trying to draw a simple flower with a mouse, and it looked like a blob. Now I use a tablet with a pressure-sensitive stylus in Krita, and the control is night and day. Anyone else start with the most basic tools and feel amazed by the difference?

That smell alone was a violation.

Yeah, that smell lingered for days. I remember painting one room and thinking I'd never get the fumes out of my nose. Solidarity, man.
