Just realized my color profile mismatch issue took 4 hours to fix because I exported from Procreate wrong
I spent all afternoon trying to figure out why my art looked washed out on my portfolio site, only to learn I'd been exporting as sRGB instead of Adobe RGB for print-ready files, so has anyone else dealt with this specific export setting headache?

Wait, isn't Adobe RGB for print and sRGB for screens? I always export web stuff as sRGB because most browsers can't handle Adobe RGB properly, which makes colors look flat. Your portfolio site probably just showed the Adobe RGB file wrong.

Yeah, the "browsers can't handle Adobe RGB" thing got me last month. I sent what I thought was a final logo to a client and it looked completely desaturated in their email preview. Had to re-export the whole batch as sRGB.

Adobe RGB is a total trap for web stuff, @the_avery. Happens to everyone once and then you never forget to convert.
