I used to think daily art posts were pointless, but then I saw the numbers

For the longest time I figured posting every single sketch or doodle was just noise. But I read a breakdown on ArtStation last month that said artists who post 5+ times per week get 3x more portfolio views. That stat surprised me. I decided to try it for 2 weeks straight, just small pieces and progress shots. My follower count jumped from 120 to 340 in that time. Now I'm wondering how often you all post here, and has it made a difference for you?

Started tracking my numbers too and realized my daily cat sketches got more likes than anything else I'd spent hours on. The consistency thing really works even if half your posts are garbage like mine. What kind of stuff did you notice got the most traction during your experiment?

Got the most traction posting a picture of my breakfast burnt to a crisp.

Man, that tracks with my experience too! I had this one post of me failing to flip a pancake that blew up way more than anything I actually planned out. What kind of burnt breakfast was it that got people hyped?
