Tell me about it, I've spent half my life trying to be that square peg. Honestly, I'm pretty sure my corners are permanently dented from all the forcing. Tbh it's a relief to finally admit the hole was round and I was never gonna fit. Some things just aren't built to click and that's okay.

Ugh, I felt that. I stopped trying to sand down my own corners. Like, I used to force myself into social stuff that drained me, pretending to love big parties when I really wanted to be home. Letting go of that act was like taking off shoes that were two sizes too small. The relief is real. Now I just look for the square holes, or honestly, I'm cool just being a peg on the shelf sometimes.
