I finally hung my digital landscape in the hall, and the neighbor kid asked if it was a video game screenshot.
He was convinced it was from his favorite game. It made my day to see him so excited about my art.

I read a piece last week about how game graphics are basically their own art form now. The writer said the line between a digital painting and a game's concept art is totally blurred. He used the scenery from games like 'Journey' or 'Sable' as examples, where you could take a screenshot and hang it in a gallery. Makes sense that a kid would see your work and just assume it's from that world.
