I dropped $400 on a digital art course that was just recycled YouTube videos
I mean, I saw the ads everywhere and thought it was the real deal, a full course on character design with industry pros. The site looked slick, the sales page promised feedback and a private community. I paid up, got my login, and the first module was literally a playlist of free tutorials from three years ago, just re-uploaded. The 'community' was a dead Discord server, and the 'feedback' was a single auto-reply email. It felt like a total scam, and I'm out the money I was saving for a new drawing tablet. Has anyone else run into these fake course sellers, and is there any way to get your money back?

Ugh, that's so frustrating. I used to think those courses were legit if they had a nice website. What steps have you tried to dispute the charge with your bank or PayPal? Sometimes you can get your money back if you explain it was not what was advertised.
