Honestly, my digital portraits looked flat for months until I tried a specific brush setting in Procreate.
I was only using default round brushes, but switching to a textured one with 'wet mix' at 35% opacity gave the skin real depth instantly. Anyone else find a simple brush tweak that fixed a major art problem?

Switched to a flat brush for inking years ago and never looked back.

Absolutely, that's the move right there. The control you get with a flat brush is just different. I remember trying to get a consistent line weight with a round brush and it was a constant fight. With a flat, you can get that sharp corner and a thick line in one stroke, or flip it for a thin hairline. It just makes sense for clean, graphic stuff.
