Hit 1,000 followers on my art account and it feels weird, not good

Just crossed 1,000 followers after posting a timelapse of a cloud study I did last Thursday, but most of them came from a random reshare by a bot account. Has anyone else felt more pressure than satisfaction from a milestone like that?

That "pressure more than satisfaction" line hit me hard. I went through the same thing when my follower count jumped after a big account shared one of my sketches. It felt like I hadn't earned it, and then I started second guessing every single post because I figured those new people expected something specific from me. What actually helped was turning off my phone for a week and just drawing for myself, no posting, no checking numbers. When I came back, I posted whatever I liked without worrying about if it fit the "vibe" that got me the followers. The ones who stayed were the ones who actually liked my work, and the rest just drifted away, which was honestly a relief.
