Can we talk about people posting huge 4K files in the showcase?
I keep seeing artists upload their work as massive 4K PNGs that take forever to load. My internet in Phoenix chokes on them. The other side says you need the full resolution for detail, but I think a 1080p preview with a link to the full file is just better for everyone. How do you guys handle sharing your high-res pieces without making the page slow?

People forget about mobile data caps. Loading a 4K image on my phone eats my plan. A smaller preview is just polite. Artists could also use newer file types like WebP, which are way smaller at the same quality. That keeps the detail for those who want it but doesn't punish everyone else just trying to scroll. The tech exists to solve this without making us choose between seeing the art and having a working browser.

You mentioned Phoenix, and I feel that. My internet in Austin is the same. When you say a 1080p preview with a link, are you thinking of a separate download page? Because I've seen some artists do that, but then the link just goes to another 4K file on a different host. Doesn't that just move the problem?
