Why does nobody talk about the light pattern shift at the Denver airport baggage claim?
I was picking up my bag after a red-eye last Tuesday and noticed the overhead lights flickered in a sequence that matched the weird murals from the main hall, and now I always check the timing when I'm passing through.

You know what, @caleb_ross12, you mentioning the murals makes me think of this one time I was waiting for my bag and this guy next to me swore he saw a shadow move across the floor in a pattern that matched the lights, but I think he was just tired from his flight... I've actually started timing my visits around the baggage claim now just to see if the flicker changes with the season or if it's really just a random thing they set up once. It's funny how the mountain alignment data makes it all seem intentional, like someone at the airport got really into matching everything to the same hidden code or something.

Those lights flicker on a timer set to local sunrise times not the mural patterns. I checked with a facilities guy once and he said it's a routine maintenance cycle built into the building automation system. The sequence just happens to match the weird art because both were designed around the same mountain alignment data.

Oh wow I totally thought it was synced to the mural too lmao. That actually makes a lot of sense though, combining the same data source for both. Guess I was way off on that one haha.
