Went to Area 51's backyard last month and saw something weird
I drove out to Rachel, Nevada near the Extraterrestrial Highway and stayed at the Little A'Le'Inn for 2 nights. Around 3 AM on the second night I saw these lights moving in a zigzag pattern over the dry lake bed, no sound at all. The woman at the front desk just laughed when I told her and said 'you must have had the meatloaf.' Has anyone else spotted anything strange out there or is it all just tourists messing with each other?

The meatloaf comment killed me, thats exactly the kind of response you get out there. I had a similar thing happen when I camped near the Tonopah Test Range last summer. Saw these orbs moving in a grid pattern at like 2 AM no noise at all and they just vanished after a few minutes. A local told me its probably just drones from the base testing stuff but I dont buy it, those things moved way too fast and smooth for any drone Ive ever seen. Most of the weird stuff I saw was probably just military testing but every once in a while you see something that makes you question everything.

That grid pattern thing over Tonopah gives me the creeps just hearing about it. Were those orbs all the same size or were they different? I ask because what I saw near Rachel was a bunch of them in a loose cluster, like they were following some kind of pattern but not a straight line. The way they moved was so unnatural, like gliding through something thicker than air. No wobble, no sound, just instant changes in direction without any lag. Makes me wonder if what you saw matches the way those things just snapped from one spot to another without slowing down first.
