Went 5 for 5 predicting my office pool picks and now my coworkers think I'm in on it
Last week I hit every single matchup in our March Madness bracket at the office in Toledo, all 5 games, and Dave from accounting started joking that I must know something the rest of us don't. I honestly just picked teams whose mascots I liked, but now three people want me to explain my "system" and one guy asked if Vegas was involved. The weird part is it's making me wonder how many everyday "coincidences" people turn into full theories just because the odds look suspicious. Has anyone else had a lucky streak that suddenly made everyone around you suspicious of you?

Watched my roommate call heads 7 times in a row on a coin and our other friend started timing the flips with his phone like it was a magic trick. People see a streak and their brain just screams pattern. Dave from accounting probably thinks you cracked a code, but you really just liked the funny mascots. It happens to everyone who gets lucky once.
