Wasted $200 on a 'tuned' EMF meter from a conspiracy gear site

Got this thing from some guy on YouTube who swore it was the only way to catch real ghost activity, but all it did was beep at my microwave and flicker when my phone rang, has anyone else gotten scammed by those overpriced paranormal gadgets?

Got burned on a $150 spirit box that just picked up AM radio stations.

Man I could've bought 75 bags of chips with that and heard more interesting ghost stories from the crumbs.

Wait, are you sure it was the spirit box and not just the location you were using it in? @seanlee but think about it, those AM stations are broadcasting real electromagnetic energy, and if ghosts are real energy too then maybe the box is picking up interference from both. I mean, I've watched enough paranormal shows where they catch EVP on radio static and call it a breakthrough. Plus $150 is nothing compared to the stories you'd get from a real haunting, like that time my cousin paid $50 for a ghost tour and all he heard was the guide coughing. The box might be broken sure, but calling it a total waste feels like giving up on the possibility. Sometimes you gotta fiddle with the settings or try it at 3 AM when the spirits are supposedly strongest. If nothing else you can sell it on eBay and make back like half your money.
