Vent: Tried tracking my pizza delivery drivers route and got totally different data than expected
So I got into that whole pizzagate rabbit hole last month (yeah I know, sounds crazy) and decided to test some delivery tracking theories. I ordered from three different pizza places in Cleveland over two weeks, like 6 orders total, and used my phone GPS to log the driver's actual route vs their app tracking. Turns out the app said one driver took a direct 12 minute path but my logs showed he stopped at a house two streets over for 8 minutes before coming to my place. Something fishy is going on with how these apps report driver movement, maybe it's just bad GPS or maybe the companies are hiding something. I checked my logs against another guy online and he spotted similar delays in Chicago. Anyone else notice their delivery app times not matching reality?

Whoa wait, an 8 minute stop at a random house? That's wild. Like I'd expect some GPS drift but that's a whole different level of off.

Didn't happen to involve a bathroom break involving me missing my turn by a whole mile, did it?
