Unpopular opinion: The week after the Vegas shooting was the worst for conspiracy talk I've ever seen.
Every forum was flooded with 'crisis actor' posts and people claiming the hotel layout proved it was fake. I saw one guy spend 3 hours mapping the Mandalay Bay floor plan to 'prove' the math didn't add up. How do you even start to reason with that level of commitment to being wrong?

Remember when I tried to prove the moon landing was fake with a protractor.

Ugh, that sounds exhausting. I remember that week too, and it felt impossible to have a normal talk about anything. When someone's that deep into their own map-making, asking for sources like @wright.lisa suggested is smart, but half the time their source is just another diagram they drew. It's like they get more comfort from the puzzle than from the real, awful truth. You just end up feeling tired for them.
