Trying to fact-check a moon landing hoax video spiraled into a 3-day rabbit hole

My cousin sent me a clip about the flag 'waving' in a vacuum. Ended up reading Apollo mission transcripts and NASA technical reports. Anyone got a good source for debunking this stuff without losing a weekend?

Oh man, I feel that. Those rabbit holes are a special kind of time warp. The Bad Astronomy website saved me from a few of those.

Yeah, I was totally in the flat earth camp for a hot minute. It seemed weirdly possible online. Then I spent an afternoon on Bad Astronomy looking at the simple proof with time zones and sunsets. Felt like an idiot, but it shut that nonsense down for good.

Actually, those so called rabbit holes are just people asking real questions. Websites like Bad Astronomy just shut down debate with simple answers that ignore bigger problems. If you look into it, the time zone thing has other explanations they don't tell you about. Feeling like an idiot is what they want, so you stop digging. The real truth is always more complicated than some website's basic proof.
