That whole 5G tower fire thing in Nashville got me thinking

I was reading about that ATT building fire back in December 2024, and it turns out the guy who did it was convinced 5G was controlling people's minds. He left some manifesto online saying exactly that. Makes me wonder how many other "random" equipment failures or fires out there are actually from people acting on the same stuff.

Oh great, so now we're supposed to be suspicious of every flickering streetlight and blown transformer too? Perfect, just what we needed - another layer of paranoia to add to the daily conspiracy checklist. Next thing you know, someone's gonna blame the toaster that caught fire on mind-controlling 5G waves instead of the fact they left a bagel in there for 45 minutes. Honestly kinda impressive how people can turn basic infrastructure failures into a whole sci-fi plot (and then go set things on fire about it).
