I always thought I was deep into conspiracy forums, but it took a buddy sending me a link to a foreign newspaper archive for me to see I'd been obsessed with the same recycled debunkings for two years, anyone else ever catch themselves in that echo chamber blind spot?

Recycled debunkings" is a loaded way to put it though. I get what you're saying about echo chambers, but not everyone who sticks to certain sources is just stuck in a loop. Sometimes those sources are the only ones that actually dig into things without the usual media spin. I've seen "debunkings" that were just as lazy as the conspiracy theories they were calling out. Maybe the archives your buddy showed you are legit, but that doesn't mean the stuff you were reading was worthless. Just different levels of digging.
