That airport scanner in Phoenix made me give up my foil hat habit

I wore a tinfoil-lined cap for three years because I was sure 5G towers were frying my brain. Last month at Sky Harbor, a TSA agent pulled me aside and said, "Sir, this is setting off every detector and we need to pat you down." The whole time he was gloving up, I realized I'd never actually read anything about 5G dangers, just reposted a meme from 2018. I chucked the cap in a trash can past security and felt my ears breathe for the first time. Has anyone else had a reality check happen at the worst possible moment, or am I the only one who looked like a DIY antenna for a year?
