Talked to my dad about chemtrails and he actually made sense

He said if the government really wanted to control us through the air, they wouldn't use something as obvious as plane trails. He pointed out that most of those trails are just normal condensation that hangs around longer now because planes fly higher than they used to in the 90s. Has anyone else had a family member change your mind on something like this?

Woah, I actually lean the other way on this one. In my experience, sometimes the most obvious stuff is exactly what they use because they know people will assume it's too obvious to be true.

Oh man, I gotta disagree with your dad on this one. Honestly, just because something looks obvious doesn't mean it's a bad way to do things. People ignore obvious stuff all the time, like how nobody questions why every single plane leaves a trail that hangs around for hours now. Tbh, the "planes fly higher" thing is a half truth. They do fly higher than back in the day, but the science says contrails should still dissipate quick if the air is dry enough. Ngl, I've seen days where the whole sky gets covered in that haze and it doesn't look natural at all. Your dad is smart for questioning stuff, but sometimes the simplest explanation is just what they want you to believe.
