Rant: Got stuck in a Staples parking lot for 45 minutes because of a 'flash mob'

Was leaving the Staples on Route 9 in Framingham last Tuesday and some group blocked all the exits with their cars for a protest that wasn't even announced. Has anyone else had their day wrecked by one of these spontaneous gatherings that turn out to be organized?

I swear every time I try to run a quick errand like grabbing printer ink the universe decides to test me lmao. Last time I got stuck behind some flash mob thing at the mall I just sat there eating a granola bar watching people wave signs until my kid asked if we were camping. I bet those Staples people were probably just trying to get home to their Netflix shows like normal folks.
