Pulled the FBI's own crime stats for 2023 and the clearance rate for burglaries was only 12.4%
Found that number buried in the Uniform Crime Report PDF on their site, has anyone else noticed how those rates drop every year since the 60s?

Man, that stat is rough. My buddy's place got hit last year and the cop flat out told him to just make an insurance claim because they weren't gonna find anything (@ryan_gibson84 is right, feels like nobody follows through). It's like they don't even bother with the low-level stuff anymore.
