My buddy in Denver swore the 'birds aren't real' thing was a joke to expose how people believe anything online
He showed me the original social media posts from 2017, and the creator literally said it was a performance art project. Anyone else have a conspiracy they believed that turned out to be a deliberate hoax?

Remember the whole "Paul is dead" Beatles thing? I fell for that as a kid before learning it was a radio stunt. Makes you check the source on anything that sounds too weird now.
