Just realized the whole '5G towers track you' thing has some real shady stuff behind it
I used to roll my eyes at anyone talking about 5G conspiracy theories. Thought it was all tin foil hat nonsense. But then my buddy who works as a tower tech for a company in Austin started showing me some of the fine print in the lease agreements they sign. Turns out some of those towers have extra hardware slots that are 'reserved for government use' with zero explanation of what that hardware does. He also found out that a bunch of towers near military bases have backup batteries that last way longer than needed for emergencies. And get this, the signal handoff data between towers supposedly gets logged and stored for up to 6 months by default. I'm not saying it's mind control or anything crazy, but the lack of transparency on what's actually in those boxes is sketchy. Has anyone else seen the installation paperwork or FCC filings that detail these extra components?

My cousin @dixon.spencer's bank caught this same scam last week so yeah it's definitely real.
