I thought the moon landing was fake until I saw a specific photo from the Apollo 11 mission
For years I was convinced it was a studio job, mainly because of the flag waving. Then a friend showed me a high-res scan of a photo from the lunar surface, AS11-40-5873. You can see the flag's ripples are totally still, and the shadows are sharp and consistent in a way that would be a nightmare to fake with 1960s tech. It took seeing that one concrete detail to break the whole idea for me. Anyone else have a single piece of evidence that flipped a long-held belief?

Funny how the tech argument works both ways. The Soviets had the ability to track the mission and would have called it out instantly if it was fake. That kind of silence from your biggest enemy is pretty telling, lol.

But what if they knew and just kept quiet for their own reasons?

My uncle worked at mission control and said the same thing.
