I hit 100 hours of research on the moon landing hoax and it flipped my view
I was deep into the rabbit hole, watching all the old videos about flag waves and shadows. I decided to actually track my time spent, and after hitting 100 hours logged, I went through my notes. The big shift came when I found a 1971 technical report from NASA explaining the crosshairs appearing behind objects as a film processing effect. That one document, which I found in a university archive online, made me realize how much I was just hearing one side. Has anyone else had a single piece of evidence completely change their stance on a big theory?

It's wild how a single fact can shatter a whole echo chamber. I see it all the time when people only get their news from one place. That moment you find the original source changes everything.

Finding the original source material cuts through so much noise. I see it with recipes online, where the tenth blog post copies a mistake from the first. You have to go back to the original cookbook to see what it actually says.

Man, I was totally on board with the flat earth stuff for a while. What got me was finally looking up how ship hulls disappear before the mast on the horizon. Seeing that simple proof with my own eyes at the beach, it just clicked that the curve is real.
