lol a whole consensus after decades? thats cute. we're talking about documents where 99% of the interesting stuff is still blacked out for "national security". agreeing on one footnote feels like finding a crumb and calling it a feast.

Wait, they actually admit 99% is still blacked out? And they're proud of that? That's not a win, that's them telling us they're hiding almost everything. Calling a consensus on the one sentence they let us see is a joke. It's like they're laughing at us for being happy with scraps.

Getting anything out of them is progress, and that one sentence can still be important. It sets a public record they can't walk back later. Baby steps are still steps forward.
