Debate: Did the JFK files really get fully released or is that a cover story?

I've been going back and forth on this for a while. On one hand, the National Archives put out that big batch in 2023, like 15,000 records or something. But I've read that agencies like the CIA still have pages they're holding back until 2025 or later. So is it a full release if they can just delay the 'sensitive' stuff forever? I'm leaning toward the idea that we got a lot of fluff and the real meat is still locked up. What do you all think - are we ever gonna see the actual truth or is this just a slow roll of denial?

Heard from a researcher on a podcast that a lot of those "released" files are just heavily redacted copies of stuff we already saw in the 90s. They said the real juicy stuff, like the CIA's official records on Oswald's trip to Mexico City, are still sitting in a vault somewhere with a 2027 release date. Makes me wonder if we'll ever get a straight answer or if they're just gonna keep kicking the can down the road until everyone who cares is dead. Just feels like a slow motion cover-up to me, giving us crumbs so we think we got a meal.

Is there any proof that the 2027 date is real, or is that just another rumor to keep people waiting? Feels like they picked a year far enough away that most folks will have moved on by then.
