Comparing $20 gooseneck kettles to $150 ones changed my pour over setup
I always thought expensive gear was the move for better coffee. After burning through two cheap kettles from the hardware store last year, I borrowed a friend's Stagg kettle for a week. The temperature control on the expensive one was nice but honestly not life changing for the price. The real difference was the spout shape - my cheap kettle poured like a fire hose while the Stagg had a steady thin stream. Has anyone else found a budget alternative that actually competes with the high end stuff?

Bought a $30 Bonavita years ago and it still pours perfectly fine.
