Tried adding comments to my code and broke everything somehow

Last night I was working on a simple Python script to sort my music files and decided to be good and add comments explaining each step. After adding like 15 lines of comments the whole thing stopped running and spat out a syntax error about indentation. Has anyone else had comments mess with their code structure for no reason?

Used to think comments could never mess anything up, troy832, but that indentation trap just changed my mind.
