Serious question, has anyone else broken a website by forgetting one semicolon?
I was working on a simple contact form in my room last night, trying to make the submit button change color when you click it. I spent an hour staring at the screen because nothing was happening, and my friend in Chicago finally pointed out I missed a semicolon on line 47 of my JavaScript file. How do you even start to look for a tiny mistake like that when you're new?

How do you even start looking? Use a linter.

Just stare at the screen until the errors reveal themselves. It's a spiritual thing.
