PSA: spent 2 hours stuck on a missing bracket in my first week of Python, and it taught me more than any tutorial

Did you end up actually understanding why the bracket mattered, or did you just find it and move on? Because that part is where the real learning happens (at least it was for me). Once you trace back through the error and see how the whole block was broken, stuff like indentation and scope starts making way more sense than any video could teach.
