My CSS grid bug took 7 hours to catch - a missing semicolon

I spent 7 straight hours last Tuesday debugging a layout that just wouldn't stack right on mobile. Turned out I forgot a semicolon on a line 200 lines up in my stylesheet. Has anyone else wasted a full workday on something this dumb?

My neighbor's son is a junior developer and he told me he spent 11 hours on a missing comma in a JSON file last month. I guess I just don't get the panic. Seven hours on one missing semicolon? You probably noticed the problem within the first hour, right? After that it's more about stubbornness than debugging. Sometimes you need to step away, grab a coffee, and come back fresh instead of burning a whole day staring at the same line.
