Just wasted $90 on a coding bootcamp that was basically YouTube videos

I signed up for a 12-week web dev bootcamp last month, paid $90 for the early bird deal. Turns out the "live instruction" was just pre-recorded videos from 2021 and the instructor answered questions once a week in a Slack channel. I could have learned the same stuff from free tutorials on YouTube. Has anyone else fallen for one of these deals before?

90 bucks isn't the worst I've seen but it's still shady how they marketed "live" classes that were just recordings. It's the same pattern with those cheap online courses and even some gym memberships where they promise personal training but you just get a generic workout plan. Everyone's trying to sell you the easy version of something that actually takes real work.
