I spent $150 on a Python bootcamp and it was a total waste

I saw an ad for a 'beginner friendly' online bootcamp that promised to teach you Python in a weekend. It was just a guy reading slides super fast and giving us huge projects with zero help. I got stuck on the second lesson and the support email never replied. Has anyone found a good, actually helpful course for learning the basics without spending a ton?

What about trying free stuff on YouTube first?

Honestly that's the only way to start. I found a channel that just showed how to fix a leaky faucet, step by step with the camera right on the tools. Watched it twice, bought a $10 washer, and did it myself. Saved a ton on a plumber. You can learn almost any basic repair that way before you even think about a paid course.

Totally agree, I learned the basics that way before spending a dime.
