Hit 1000 lines of code on my first real project and felt like a fraud
I just finished a simple to-do list app for practice. It's only 1000 lines but it took me 3 months of messing up and restarting. I thought hitting that number would make me feel like a real coder. Instead I just see all the messy parts I'd do different now. Did anyone else feel this way after their first real project?

That feeling of being a fraud means you are finally seeing clearly, which is the first real step to becoming a real coder.

Yeah @hannahk19 it's wild how that same feeling creeps in when you're learning anything new like cooking or even driving too.
