Vent: Grocery store cashier bagged my items in plastic after I brought my own bags

I always bring my cloth bags to use less plastic. Yesterday, the cashier did not see them and used plastic bags. I had to tell her to stop, which made the line wait. It's frustrating when folks don't notice green habits. I hope stores train staff better.

Why not just put your bags on the belt first? That's what I do. It's annoying but saves the hassle.
