Just got back from a camping trip in the Smokies and the trash was unreal
I mean, I was up near Clingmans Dome last weekend, and the amount of litter along some of the trails was just sad. It wasn't just a stray wrapper, idk, it was like whole bags of chips, plastic bottles, even a busted camp chair just left in a creek bed. Maybe it's just me, but it felt way worse than it did when I went a few years back. It really hit me that even people who go out to enjoy nature can be part of the problem without thinking. I ended up filling a grocery bag with junk on my hike out. Has anyone else seen this kind of thing getting worse in parks near them? What's a good way to get folks to just pack out what they pack in?
