The creek behind my parents' house in Ohio is 30 feet wider than it was in 2015
I walked the same stretch I grew up fishing on in Union County and the bank has eaten almost 30 feet of the old hay field since 2015. My dad blames the bigger spring floods, and a soil guy from the county extension office told us the upstream housing development is sending runoff straight into it. That means less land and muddier water every year. Has anyone on here dealt with a creek like this, and did planting a buffer strip actually slow it down?
