Switched my lawn to clover last spring and now my neighbor's bees won't leave my yard alone.
I planted a mix of white clover and microclover across my 500 square foot front yard in Cincinnati to cut water use, but the local beekeeper's hives found it so fast that I've got constant buzzing visitors from April to October, which really makes you think about how one small change can ripple out.

So you basically set up a permanent bee buffet. Did you notice any other bugs coming back that you hadn't seen in a while, like butterflies or fireflies? Kind of wild how fast the whole local bug scene can change.

Your "one small change" just became the best restaurant in the neighborhood.
