Shoutout to the guy who warned me about those 'green' crypto schemes

I put $500 into one last year that promised to plant trees with every transaction, but the whole thing just vanished after three months (poof, gone). Honestly, it felt more like a scam dressed up in eco-friendly language than real climate action. Has anyone else gotten burned by something that seemed too good to be true?

Some of those projects actually do good work though.
