My uncle told me to just stop using plastic bags for a month...

He said it would save me like $50 a year in grocery costs. I tried it for 30 days and honestly my kitchen was way less cluttered and I actually saved $42. Has anyone else had surprise savings from a simple habit change?

The kicker is those small changes add up without you really noticing. I started meal prepping and saved way more than that just by not throwing out wilted produce.

Started doing that too and it cut my grocery bill by like 30 bucks a week. I batch cook rice and beans on Sundays, then just throw them in bowls with whatever veggies and protein I have. Also helps that I'm way less tempted to grab takeout when there's prepped chicken and roasted broccoli waiting in the fridge lol
